Thursday 24th April

The weatherman had said it was going to be hot and sunny today so we had arranged to go to the Hotel de Ville gardens for some sunbathing and sketching. Hum, not quite the weather we’d hoped. It was warm when the sun was out but the wind was mighty cold. After approximately 15 minutes we decided it was too cold to sit in the park so went and got our gig tickets from FNAC and went back to Grace’s for a hot drink and a film. Actually two films - ‘The Witches of Eastwick’ and ‘Bruce Almighty’. Then we got down to some serious work and did a group crit. This afternoon, Mary and Grace showed us and explained their work and we gave pointers and how it could be developed etc. Liz and I will do it some other time soon. I felt like I was back at art school! Back home I did some more art work and thought about my dissertation choice which has to be in tomorrow. I can’t believe its that stage of the course already.
